Bonding can be a great way to improve the look of your teeth, and is an economical alternative to veneers. If you have decayed, discoloured or unattractively spaced teeth, it can reshape your smile – and your self image.

With bonding, we can change the colour, shape and length of your teeth, eliminate crowding, close up spaces, and do a lot of the things that can be done with veneers. Bonding usually lasts about five to eight years, at which point you can have it redone, or you can switch to veneers.

Dental bonding uses a composite resin to fill, reface and restructure teeth. Using the resin like sculptor’s clay, Dr. Heidary shapes it, then uses a high-intensity light to harden the plastic. Finally, he polishes the surface so it looks and feels like natural enamel. Bonding doesn’t require a huge time commitment – most of our patients see a major difference in a single visit, and are delighted with the results.
